Cümlenin başına fiil yalın halde getirilirse olumlu emir cümlesi, cümlenin başına “don’t” olumsuzluk eki ve arkasından fiil getirilirse olumsuz emir cümlesi kurulur.

Examples:

Peel the cucumbers. (Salatalıkları soy.) +

Slice the tomatoes. (Domatesleri dilimle.) +

Don’t boil the eggs. (Yumurtaları kaynatma.) –

Don’t mash the potato. (Patatesi ezme.) –

Example:

Lemon Cake

Ingredients:

• 3 eggs
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 cup of oil
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 1 lemon
• 3 cups of flour

First, put the eggs and sugar into a bowl and mix them.

Second, add the milk, oil and lemon juice and stir the mixture.

Next, add the baking powder, vanilla extract, flour and mix again.

Then spread some oil into the cake pan and pour the mixture into it.

After that, bake it for 45 minutes.

Finally, Slice it and serve warm. Enjoy your cake!
